Feel free to poke around in the source and suggest modifications. Discussion is welcome in the IVSMagic forum on Planet Replay.
Since the code is available under the Mozilla license, you can take the ideas you see here and run with them.

Future Features
Here are some of the ideas for what can be done:
- add a database of episode air dates to IVSMagic, and automate the requesting of shows you miss. When the airdate for a show goes into the past, we would look for that show in the list of recordings, and if it doesn't show up in 24 hours, a warning would appear on the Poopli status pane. A link to autmatically request that show would appear.
